Antique Asian textiles in good condition are becoming increasingly difficult to find. When a textile is found in good to excellent condition, it is a near miracle.
Pictures below showing an antique (late 19th century) Chinese two-piece pleated silk satin pink skirt with panels embroidered with images of flowers, butterflies and birds. The skirt is neatly hand stitched on a band of white cotton cloth or linen waistband.
