Loose Kerongsang / Brooches

Pictures below are the loose kerongsang or brooches purchased from an antique dealer. The uniqueness of each pieces caught my attention and how I wish they were in full set.

Do check on my previous post about the kerongsang / brooches.

Chinese Embroidered Headband

This antique Chinese embroidered headband is typical of headgear worn by Chinese woman around the turn of the 19th-20th century. It would have been worn the narrow portion across the forehead, with the rounded flap portions covering the ears and fastened at the back of the head.

Do browse my previous blog about Chinese noble lady bead work head gear.
