Chinese Silver Waistband Accessory

Pictures below show a lovely antique Chinese silver waistband accessory from my collection. It is meant to be hung to a waistband with the light jangly noise that it makes when it moves. It is an elaborate silver piece composed of many parts.

First, two chains are hung from a ring that suspends to a curlicue which holds another four chains. Two of the four chains are attached to a three dimensional fish dangler on each side and the other two to a panel with floral decorations that has been enamelled with several colours. From there, five chains from each floral panel are attached to a three dimensional lotus blossom dangler, which in total of ten (five at each side) where the light jangly noise is heard when it moves.

This is an antique silver piece that has been worn quite a lot as you can see some wear on the loops and on the danglers. It is a wonderful collection, even hanging in the house where there is a little bit of breeze, the piece will make gentle, light tinkling sound.

The entire hanging piece is 58cm long.
