Gobek is one of the betel nut paraphernalia that is usually made of copper. It is used to crush the ingredients of betel (betel is the name of the leaf in which they're wrapped prior to chewing) such as areca nut and lime.
It is designed and used by the folks who has difficulty in chewing the betel and the ingredients.
